Job Responsibilities

As a Landscape Maintenance Specialist, you will collaborate with our Horticulturist to ensure that both our indoor plants and outdoor spaces are maintained to the highest standards. Your attention to detail will help create an inviting atmosphere for our guests while ensuring the safety and aesthetics of the property. During the summer months, you will also play a vital role in garden upkeep, and in winter, you will assist with festive decorations and snow management.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Delivering professional, friendly, and engaging service consistently Effectively communicating, following directions, and embracing constructive feedback Engaging in physically demanding tasks such as shoveling, lifting, and digging

Year-Round Duties

Caring for indoor plants, including watering, health monitoring, and cleaning Maintaining seasonal arrangements and plants as needed Ensuring cleanliness and organization of all materials and containers Performing additional tasks as assigned

Summer Responsibilities

Providing thorough watering and care for all gardens and plant containers Monitoring moisture levels, pests, and fertilizer usage Keeping outdoor areas, including sidewalks and driveways, clean and tidy Ensuring all areas are free from weeds and debris Mowing, trimming, and maintaining gardens around the property

Holiday Season Tasks

Transporting decorations from storage to various locations within the property Installing lights and decorations with a focus on visual appeal Setting up both artificial and live trees up to 20 feet tall Ensuring timely decoration and delivery of guest room trees

Winter Duties

Keeping sidewalks, pathways, and stairs clear of snow and ice Operating snow removal equipment as necessary

Qualifications
Skills & Requirements:

Previous experience in gardening or working in a greenhouse/nursery is advantageous Strong skills in both indoor and outdoor plant care are preferred A valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record is required Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift at a brisk pace Capable of lifting and carrying up to 70 lbs. and navigating stairs Comfortable working at heights and on ladders Adaptable to various weather conditions (snow, heat, rain) Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and thrive in a repetitive environment Additional Information
