Urban Barn is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our Laval store in Quebec. As a national retail chain with over 50 stores across Canada, we offer high-quality furniture and home decor. Our team is passionate about creating a welcoming environment for customers and employees alike.
As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for enriching the customer experience while growing your expertise with a well-known Canadian retailer. You will collaborate with the Manager and Assistant Manager to create a positive working environment for the team and an excellent shopping experience for our customers.
Our stores operate 7 days a week, requiring candidates who can work 30-40 hours per week and are available to work a variety of shifts on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide customers in their home decor choices
- Open, prepare, and close the store
- Train and coach team members
- Support operational tasks for stock and merchandising
- Ensure the performance of the store
- Maintain the visual standards and cleanliness of the store
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of retail sales experience
- Experience in customer service leadership
- A passion for interior decor and merchandising
- Commitment to a flexible schedule (open to daytime, evening, and weekend shifts)
- The ability to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs / 23 kg
