Workforce Planning and Capacity Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Workforce Resourcing and Capacity Analyst to join our team at NAV CANADA. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data to inform workforce planning and resourcing decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to identify trends and patterns that impact workforce planning and resourcing.
- Develop and maintain reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Conduct research projects and studies to provide insights on complex issues impacting workforce capacity and resourcing.
- Support the implementation of planning frameworks and corresponding initiative assessments.
- Prepare presentations and develop reporting mechanisms to communicate identified trends and patterns to stakeholders.
- Analyze current technology processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
- Interpret, validate, and report on current, historical, and forecast data to support workforce planning and resourcing activities.
- Provide advice and guidance to management on resourcing and capacity planning.
- Support the identification of key industry dynamics that may impact the business over the planning horizon.
- Ensure the timely production, maintenance, and reporting of performance metrics data.
- University/ Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or Analytics, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience in applying primary research and/or statistical/analytical tools to solve research/practical problems.
- Experience conducting or participating in quantitative and qualitative research and studies, analyzing and synthesizing results, and developing means of communicating outcomes.
- Experience organizing statistical and research-based information for presentation in reports and recommending improved methods of work.
- Experience working with a range of data and analytical concepts and methodologies, including primary research, financial modeling, forecasting, and econometrics.
- Knowledge and understanding of data collection, manipulation, and validation, as well as the organization of information for reporting purposes.
- Knowledge of desktop software and modeling tools, including Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of statistical analysis tools and software.
- Ability to perform work in an environment where attention to detail, accuracy, and timelines are a priority.
- Ability to ensure accuracy of work and reports through self-regulated quality checks.
- Ability to understand the criteria involved in making decisions and assist others in making better decisions.
- Ability to collaborate, facilitate, negotiate, lead, and influence.
- Ability to build rapport and interact effectively with all levels and areas of the organization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- A self-starter with excellent time management and prioritizing skills, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Possesses critical thinking skills and meticulous attention to detail for precise problem-solving.
- Travel may be required.
