We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Gas Station Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire Gas+. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our gas station, ensuring a safe and efficient customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively manage and allocate tasks to sales staff to ensure optimal productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales staff to meet the needs of our customers.
- Authorize Payments: Process payments and manage cash handling procedures to maintain accuracy and security.
- Order Merchandise: Coordinate the ordering and inventory management of merchandise to meet customer demand.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and minimize overtime.
- Sell Merchandise: Provide excellent customer service and promote sales of merchandise to meet sales targets.
- Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data and prepare reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Resolve Customer Issues: Effectively handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory levels and manage stockroom operations to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Supervise Staff: Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to sales staff to ensure they meet performance expectations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
