Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Dental Hygienist

Canadian Orthodontic Partners is seeking a talented and experienced Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team in Waterloo, ON. As a key member of our orthodontic care team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and support.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience as a Dental Hygienist and a strong passion for delivering exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for providing patient care and support, ensuring patients receive optimal hygiene treatment, and educating patients on good oral hygiene habits and treatment progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care and support in an enthusiastic and personalized way
  • Ensure patients receive optimal hygiene treatment based on clinical findings and their goals for comprehensive oral health
  • Collect patient dental and medical history to reference during examinations
  • Prepare patients for the Orthodontist and take X-Rays
  • Examine gums for infections or gum disease and clean patient teeth
  • Perform lab duties and maintain dental instruments and supplies
  • Call patients for aftercare and answer questions
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Dental Hygienist
  • Successful completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree program
  • Registered and/or licensed by the dental hygiene regulatory authority within the province, in good standing
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Great time management and organizational skills
