Opportunity Overview
Khoury College seeks experienced professionals to contribute to our dynamic Biotechnology Professional Science Master's (PSM) Programs. We are looking for individuals passionate about teaching graduate-level courses in science and technology, with a specific focus on the biotechnology field, particularly biopharmaceuticals.
Responsibilities
- Master and deliver engaging lectures based on provided course materials.
- Cultivate stimulating discussions and debates in both in-person and online learning environments.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback on student assignments.
- Maintain consistent communication with students, monitoring their progress throughout the program.
- Adhere to Khoury College's academic policies and guidelines.
Part-time instructors will report to the program director and receive guidance from a faculty lead. This includes conducting office hours as needed to support student learning.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate possesses a PhD in biotechnology or a related field, a DBA, MBA, or equivalent graduate degree, and a minimum of five years of relevant industry experience in biotechnology, biopharmaceuticals, or pharmaceuticals. Exceptional presentation skills are essential, along with a collaborative and receptive attitude towards guidance from senior faculty members. Prior experience in diverse higher education settings is highly valued.
