Job Description: Technology Contract Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technology Contract Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing technology contracts, fostering strong vendor relationships, and ensuring efficient contract administration. Your expertise will contribute to improved operations and performance across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify sourcing needs for Technology categories.
- Lead contracting activities as the subject matter expert, guiding negotiations and contract execution.
- Develop and implement vendor and contract management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and transparency.
- Proactively identify and propose risk mitigation strategies to safeguard BCI's interests.
- Monitor cost savings and benefits derived from contract management initiatives, providing regular reports and analysis.
- Manage vendor performance, conducting evaluations and developing organizational briefs to ensure optimal service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in procurement, specializing in Technology contracts.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Source-to-Pay process and best practices in vendor management.
- Professional certifications such as SCMP are highly desirable.
Work Environment:
This position offers a flexible work arrangement, with the option to work from either our Victoria or Vancouver office. Relocation support may be available for qualified candidates.
