The mission of international affairs at Polytechnique Montréal is to coordinate and implement the internationalization strategy based on the needs outlined in the institutional strategic plan. This mission is supported by the university's expertise and priorities in education, research, university management, and innovation. In order to advance the institution's overall objectives, assert its leadership, and enhance its attractiveness, Polytechnique Montréal International has three main international priorities:

  • Attract leading research specialists, faculty, and students worldwide by developing partnerships with institutions that share our values and strategic priorities.
  • Support international research collaborations aligned with the strategic plan.

ROLE

Reporting to the Functional Director of Communications, External and International Relations, the desired candidate will coordinate the deployment of Polytechnique Montréal International's strategy and action plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance Polytechnique Montréal's international presence and reputation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international partners, including universities, research institutions, and government agencies.
  • Oversee the management of international student and faculty mobility programs.
  • Promote and support international research collaborations.
  • Develop and manage budgets for international activities.
  • Stay informed about current trends and best practices in international higher education.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as International Relations, Education, or Business Administration.
  • Proven experience in international affairs, preferably in the higher education sector.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Fluency in French and English is required.
