About the Role

Rose Rocket, a leading provider of Transportation Management Software, is seeking a seasoned Senior Product Manager to join our Platform Team. As a key member of our product development process, you will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our core platform services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define the Platform Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product strategy and roadmap for Rose Rocket's core platform, aligning with the company's overall objectives and customer needs.
  • Enable the Organization: Partner closely with engineering and other product teams to ensure our platform provides the capabilities, APIs, and tools that allow them to move quickly and confidently.
  • Drive Scalability: Focus on ensuring our platform supports a growing user base and product complexity, while maintaining performance, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate: Work with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful delivery of key projects.
  • Measure Success: Define metrics for platform success, track performance, and iterate on improvements to ensure optimal outcomes.

Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years in product management, ideally with experience in platform or infrastructure product development in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills: Strong technical understanding of platform architecture, APIs, and scalability challenges. Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Leadership: You're a strong communicator who can inspire and lead teams through influence. You enjoy mentoring and helping others grow.
  • Problem-Solving: A data-driven mindset and the ability to think strategically about how to solve complex problems with elegant solutions.
  • Agile & Lean Practices: Familiarity with Agile methodologies, and experience using tools like JIRA, Asana, or similar for tracking projects and prioritizing work.
