Job Title: Painting and Decorating Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painting and Decorating Supervisor to join our team at GoodHome Painting Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of painters and decorators, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to a high standard. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and decorating, with experience in supervising teams and managing projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of painters and decorators to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Manage and coordinate painting and decorating projects, including estimating costs and materials
  • Train and develop team members to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed on all projects
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in painting and decorating, with a strong background in supervising teams and managing projects
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Reliability, team player, initiative, and flexibility
