About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Supervisor to lead our Painting Team at Perfect Line Painting LTD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the painting operations and ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of painting projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the Painting Team, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary resources and training to excel in their roles.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain the highest quality standards.
  • Client Communication: Liaise with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on project progress, and ensure that their expectations are met.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all team members follow health and safety protocols, and report any incidents or near-misses to management.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs within the team and provide opportunities for professional development to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the construction or painting industry.
  • Workplace Information: This is an on-the-road job, requiring frequent travel to various project sites.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provide support and guidance to newcomers and refugees, facilitating their integration into the team and the company.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities to Indigenous workers, and provide cultural competency training to all employees.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Implement hiring policies that discourage discrimination against visible minorities, and provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work overtime as required.
