Job Title: Transportation Logistics Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Florentina Foods Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the logistics of our organization, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement specific plans to prioritize tasks and optimize logistics operations.
  • Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including inventory management and supply chain coordination.
  • Plan and organize operational logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and materials.
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Prepare and submit reports on logistics performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff as needed.
  • Conduct performance reviews and coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure high-quality results.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role.

  • Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
Support for Indigenous People:
  • Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
  • Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week
