  • Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including inventory management and transportation coordination.
  • Plan and organize operational logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and materials.
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Train workers in duties and policies, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Arrange training for staff, including cross-cultural and diversity training to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Conduct performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and coaching to employees.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of stock levels.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a logistics or transportation role.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and transportation coordination.
