Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement specific plans to prioritize tasks and optimize logistics operations.
- Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including inventory management, transportation coordination, and supply chain management.
- Plan and organize operational logistics, including scheduling, routing, and inventory control.
- Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Prepare and submit reports on logistics performance, including metrics on inventory levels, transportation costs, and supply chain efficiency.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff as needed.
- Conduct performance reviews and coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure high-quality results.
- Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
- 3-4 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
- Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
- Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
- Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
