**Job Summary:**
Open Systems Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java/Python Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems using Java and Python.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and develop scalable, efficient, and reliable software systems using Java and Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions.
- Develop and maintain high-quality code, following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our software systems.
**Requirements:**
- 10+ years of experience with Java and 5+ years of experience with Python development.
- Extensive experience building distributed, service-oriented, and microservice-style architectures.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful service implementations, rational databases, and Linux/Unix Shell.
- Strong understanding of different storage architectures and their appropriate application.
- Experience with Jenkins, TeamCity, Sonar Cube, and BitBucket.
- Excellent knowledge of multithreading, thread-pools, and strong OOP and OOAD skills.
- Experience in software development SDLC (Agile).
**Education and Certification:**
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in computer science or mathematics.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and written skills.
**Language:** English (en-US)
