Join Our Team as a Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Guidewire Software. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native software applications that power the Property and Casualty insurance industry worldwide.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented software engineer with a strong background in cloud computing, software development, and architecture. You will work closely with our team of experienced engineers, product managers, and architects to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance software applications.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cloud-native software applications using Java, Golang, NodeJS, Python, or equivalent languages
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code, following industry best practices and standards
  • Work with infrastructure teams to design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure solutions
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment of software applications
Requirements
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in software development and architecture
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, software development, and architecture
  • Experience with Linux debugging and REST API/gRPC
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Java, Golang, NodeJS, Python, or equivalent
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
