Residential Care Team Supervisor Required

We are actively looking for a Residential Care Team Supervisor to enhance our service in the care sector. This role focuses on delivering assistance to children and adolescents aged 8 to 18 years who present with intricate needs, behavioral challenges, and learning disabilities. As a Residential Care Team Supervisor, you will operate on a scheduled basis throughout the week, including weekends and public holidays, with overnight duties as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Manager in all facets of the home's operations, ensuring positive childcare practices align with the home's objectives.
  • Foster a secure, nurturing, and supportive atmosphere for residents, engaging in the planning and organization of the home.
  • Maintain comprehensive records for each young person, assist in the execution of care plans, and contribute to report writing as required.
  • Participate in review and planning meetings as necessary.
  • Assist in the formulation, execution, and evaluation of service policies.
  • Ensure care staff comply with home guidelines and care plans during their shifts.
  • Assign tasks to care staff, coordinate daily activities, and uphold high cleanliness standards.
  • Engage in activities with residents, utilizing personal skills to enhance opportunities.
  • Attend supervision sessions, staff meetings, and training sessions as required.
  • Administer medication and complete associated documentation.
  • Perform overnight duties as necessary.
  • Adhere to home policies, procedures, and practices, responding to emergencies as they arise.
  • Serve as a positive role model for both colleagues and residents.
  • Manage telephone inquiries and perform administrative tasks as needed.
  • Maintain case file records detailing assessments, decisions, visits, and actions related to care plans.
Required Experience:
  • Preferred supervisory experience.
