Job Title: Residential Property Caretaker

About Us: Skyline Real Estate Limited Partnership is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Residential Property Caretaker.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of our residential properties, including hallways, floors, and staircases.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, and emptying trash cans and waste containers.
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt.
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
  • Make minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Advertise vacancies, contact contractors for repairs, and perform safety and security checks.
  • Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants, move heavy furniture and equipment, and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Work with minimal supervision, clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas, and perform other tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience in cleaning, maintenance, or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle repetitive tasks, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Excellent communication skills, dependability, initiative, and judgment.
