About the Role

Phasor Engineering Inc, a subsidiary of Quanta Services, Inc, is seeking a highly skilled Survey Crew Chief to join our Geomatics Division. As a Survey Crew Chief, you will play a critical role in the success of our power infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of survey assistants to perform daily field survey activities, including obtaining survey measurements and staking for infrastructure construction.
  • Communicate effectively with Field Leads, Project Managers, Professional Land Surveyors, and Client Field Representatives to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Interpret design drawings, field data, field sketches, and base maps to inform survey activities.
  • Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the field crew, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Travel to project locations as required.
  • Operate and maintain assigned survey equipment, including ATVs/UTVs/Argos, tools, and materials.
  • Actively promote Phasor's Health, Safety, and Environmental Program.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in surveying, engineering, construction, or industrial surveys.
  • Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
  • Technical diploma in Geomatics or Civil Engineering is preferred.
