Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Lead Cybersecurity Architect (AVP level) to oversee and direct our Global Cybersecurity Services (GCS) architecture team. GCS is responsible for all facets of Information Security on a global scale. The Architecture Team is expected to be at the forefront of thought leadership, providing strategic guidance to various security teams. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in information security, systems architecture, and departmental leadership.

This role involves managing people and requires executive-level leadership experience, along with a proven track record in establishing and managing a Cyber Security Architecture Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Department Management: Lead a team of Information Security Architects, oversee team development, maintain departmental plans, and manage backlog effectively.
  • Risk Evaluation: Perform comprehensive risk evaluations to pinpoint vulnerabilities and potential security threats within the organization's systems.
  • Security Framework Development: Guide the team in creating security frameworks and ensure effective communication and training across the organization.
  • Policy and Standards Development: Collaborate with Security Line 2 to oversee the creation of security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaboration Assurance: Work closely with GCS, segment teams, and other stakeholders to embed security measures within the project and system development lifecycle.
  • Technology Awareness: Stay updated on advancements in cybersecurity technologies and trends to recommend and implement innovative security solutions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, standards, and legal requirements, assisting in audits to demonstrate compliance.
  • Security Architecture Assessment: Regularly review and refresh the security architecture to respond to evolving threats and technologies.
  • Budget Management: Collaborate with management to establish and oversee budgets for security-related initiatives, tools, and resources.
  • Practice Expansion: Seek opportunities to broaden the scope of Security Architecture, providing comprehensive guidance for security practices.

  • Proven leadership experience in managing a Cyber Security Architecture Department.
  • Expertise in security architecture, showcasing successful solution delivery and knowledge of emerging technologies.
  • Experience in consulting and engineering security best practices to align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of security implications in cloud computing, including data breaches and account security.
  • Experience in multi-cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) frameworks.
