Operations Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Scanway Catering Ltd. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the management team in the day-to-day operations of our catering business.
Key Responsibilities:- Cost Control: Assist in the management of costs associated with products and services, ensuring that expenses are within budget.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the organization and maintenance of inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that products are rotated effectively.
- Supplier Negotiations: Assist in negotiating arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, ensuring that the best possible deals are secured.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Operations Management: Assist in the planning, organization, direction, control, and evaluation of daily operations, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Supervision: Supervise a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
