Director of Finance (Reporting & Consolidation)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Director to join our Finance team at Save-On-Foods, a leading food and health products provider in Western Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage consolidated financial reporting and oversee the financial close across the organization.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance to ensure proper accounting practices and accurate financial reporting.
  • Oversee external audits and support acquisition financial modelling and due diligence.
  • Lead financial close and reporting across all Pattison Food Group entities.
  • Develop financial models to assess acquisition viability and implications.

Requirements:

  • Experience with acquisitions and due diligence for complex deal structures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced experience with MS Excel.
  • Experience with Power BI is considered an asset.
  • Self-aware, empathetic and possess a high level of Emotional Intelligence (EQ).
