Job Title: Overhead Crane Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Overhead Crane Operator to join our team at Supreme Galvanizing Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move and place plant machinery and materials. This is a permanent position requiring a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and physical stamina.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move and place plant machinery and materials
  • Perform routine maintenance work on cranes and equipment
  • Instruct apprentices on crane operation and maintenance
  • Work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
  • Hoisting Licence
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in heavy equipment operation and maintenance
  • Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills
