We are seeking a skilled and experienced Overhead Crane Operator to join our team at Supreme Galvanizing Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move and place plant machinery and materials. They will also perform routine maintenance work and operate and control various equipment, including electroplating, hot-dip metal plating, and spray equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move and place plant machinery and materials
  • Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and machinery
  • Operate and control electroplating, hot-dip metal plating, and spray equipment
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on equipment operation and maintenance
Requirements:
  • Hoisting Licence
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Experience working with overhead cranes and heavy equipment
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a physically demanding environment
