Job Title: Overhead Crane Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Overhead Crane Operator to join our team at Supreme Galvanizing Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move and place plant machinery and materials. This is a permanent position requiring a Hoisting Licence and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move and place plant machinery and materials
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Operate and control electroplating equipment to coat metal, hot-dip metal plating equipment to galvanize metal and/or spray equipment to build up worn or damaged parts
Requirements:
  • Hoisting Licence
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in an industrial plant environment with exposure to dusty and hot conditions.
