We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Pilot to join our team at Helicopter Transport Services (Canada) Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading our helicopter pilots and ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of passengers and cargo.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of helicopter pilots and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Conduct pre-flight inspections and ensure that all aircraft are airworthy
  • Develop and implement safety procedures to minimize risk and ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with ground crews and air traffic control to coordinate flight activities
  • Monitor and report on aircraft performance and maintenance requirements
  • Provide training and guidance to junior pilots to ensure they meet company standards
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry developments
Requirements
  • Commercial Pilot Licence - rotors
  • Airline Pilot Transport Licence - rotors
  • Flight instructor ratings - helicopter
  • Top secret clearance
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to travel and work varied shifts
