Senior Mine Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mine Planner to join our team at McEwen Mining Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and economically sound development and operations of the underground mine.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a 3-month mine plan and a rolling 12-month mine plan to meet production commitments and goals.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop conceptual mining plans.
- Maintain constant communication with Geology personnel to ensure timely ore updates.
- Produce conceptual mine development and long hole designs.
- Use financial and economic data to ensure cost-effective mine plans.
- Lead monthly 3-month mine plan meetings and produce monthly production review reports.
- Assemble mine monthly operation reports and conduct ground control inspections.
- Assess ground conditions for mine planned development and organize annual pull tests.
- Produce ground support upgrade and rehab plans, and complete underground site rock mass mapping.
- Build phase 2 models, collect long hole performance data, and update mine stability graphs.
- Collect installed MPBX data to monitor ground movement and review ground control for mine development layouts.
- Graduated from a recognized Mining engineering program.
- Member of Professional Engineers Ontario.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in mine planning, engineering, and project management.
- Narrow vein mining experience is preferred.
- Well-developed computer skills, specifically with software such as AutoCAD / Amine, and MS Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
