Job Title: Finance Lead, ERP Implementation and Transformation

Mackenzie Health is seeking an experienced Finance Lead to play a key role in the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The successful candidate will provide leadership, guidance, and expertise on the finance functionality of the ERP system, streamlining operations and finance processing, and implementing and optimizing finance systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance on the finance functionality of the ERP system
  • Streamline operations and finance processing
  • Implement and optimize finance systems
  • Develop and implement short and long-term technology plans to deliver the department's business goals and objectives
  • Develop finance business cases for new technology solutions
  • Monitor and interpret trends and best practices specific to finance and advise the Director, ERP Planning & Implementation on future development opportunities
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree in finance, information technology management, computer science or business program, or related combination of education & experience
  • Project Management Professional certification (PMP) is an asset
  • Chartered Professional Accountant certification (CPA) is an asset
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience with translating finance business requirements into project requirements preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Three to five (3-5) years' experience managing finance applications and enabling technology
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Change management expertise with a track record of successfully driving organizational change initiatives, preferably in large, unionized organizations
  • Previous leadership roles are preferred
  • Proven ability and experience in business process documents and training end-users on new processes
