About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Motel Cleaner to join our team at Go Motel. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our motel rooms and common areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment for our guests.
  • Dusting and Vacuuming: Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • Bed Making and Linen Management: Make beds and change sheets to ensure a comfortable and clean sleeping environment for our guests.
  • Supply Distribution: Distribute clean towels and toiletries to our guests and restock linen closets as needed.
  • Kitchen and Bathroom Cleaning: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items to ensure our guests' personal belongings are safe and secure.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items and provide basic information on facilities.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Changing Rooms and Showers: Clean changing rooms and showers to ensure a clean and safe environment for our guests.
Requirements
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring the ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
  • Security and Safety: Must undergo a criminal record check to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Experience: Will train the successful candidate, and a permanent position is available.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 30-40 hours per week.
