We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Planning and Inventory Manager to join our team at Psycho Bunny. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing merchandising and inventory strategies to drive sales and gross margin growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage strategic inventory positions across all commodities
- Drive the lifecycle and markdown management of inventory at the commodity level
- Collaborate with merchandising and leadership teams to set assortment planning strategies corporate-wide
- Manage lead time strategies by commodity and ensure receipt strategies and buys are placed accordingly
- Lead a team of merchandise planning managers and planners, fostering growth and development within the team
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field of study
- At least 7 years of experience managing planning teams in a retail environment
- Deep understanding of inventory management and best practice retail financial accounting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
- Strong ability to spot anomalies and focus on what is really driving business performance
- Ability to influence and strong communication skills
- Ability to build and coach teams in fast-growing environments
- Strong Excel skills
- Hands-on approach towards management and process improvement
