Job Summary

At Mad Science & Imagine Arts Academy, we're passionate about inspiring the next generation of scientists through our innovative activities. As a Children's Program Instructor, you'll have the opportunity to build and fly rockets, demonstrate lasers, and explore the states of matter using dry ice. You'll also help children create slime and other polymers, making learning fun and engaging.

Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver MAD SCIENCE PARTIES and AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS for Mad Science & Imagine Arts Academy
  • Visit schools, libraries, camps, homes, and other locations to deliver science presentations
  • Work with children aged 4-12, promoting their curiosity and love for science
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement engaging science activities
  • Ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants
Requirements
  • An OUTGOING and DYNAMIC personality
  • Experience working with groups of children aged 4-12
  • Some experience in theater or performance a plus
  • Valid License & Reliable transportation (A MUST)
  • A cell phone
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Lots of ENERGY
  • All employees are required to submit a Vulnerable Sector Screening at time of hiring
