About the Opportunity

Aecon is seeking a skilled Planner/Scheduler to support the Darlington New Nuclear Project (DNNP) in Clarington, Ontario. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for maintaining project schedules and developing schedules for the current definition phase and subsequent phases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and regularly update project schedules in Primavera P6.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and team members to ensure schedules are accurate and comprehensive.
  • Ensure accurate resource planning and validate schedule logic, activity durations, float allocation, and critical path identification.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to devise, agree, and carry out mitigation actions.
  • Prepare month-end reports and corporate dashboards.
  • Attend meetings and inform relevant project personnel on schedule updates.
  • Perform detailed schedule analysis.
  • Produce reports and graphics for earned value reporting.
What You Bring to the Team
  • Engineering degree or related experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related planning and scheduling experience.
  • Knowledge of P6 and other project management tools.
  • Experience in an EPC environment is preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Excel.
  • People-oriented with an ability to establish credibility with staff and clients.
  • OPG clearance.
