Job Title: Construction Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Hephæstus Homes Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the construction of houses, erecting walls and building roofs, and assisting in demolishing buildings. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction and be physically fit to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work outdoors in a noisy and dusty environment. The work site will be a construction site, and the candidate will be required to work under pressure and handle heavy loads.

Requirements:
  • Experience in construction is an asset
  • Physically fit to handle heavy loads
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Attention to detail
  • Hand-eye coordination
