As a Lead System Analyst, you will adopt a customer-centric approach while addressing critical challenges and delivering support to our clients. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring efficient operations and enhancing our Salesforce Service Cloud platform within the IT Marketing Solutions Team Portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate within a diverse team responsible for managing a portfolio of the Service Cloud platform.
- Exhibit extensive knowledge of the Salesforce Core Platform.
- Keep abreast of developments in the Salesforce Service Cloud platform, guiding and mentoring team members in translating business requirements into enhancements or solutions for the Salesforce application.
- Provide specialized Level 2 & 3 application support, including root cause analysis, coordinating with teams, managing and prioritizing product backlogs, configuration/code modifications, sourcing additional support, and maintaining system documentation.
- Oversee applications for user experience, interfaces, runtime exceptions, and performance, recommending improvements as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process automation or innovation in business operations using application features.
- Support ongoing improvement initiatives through advisory and consultative support, proactively sharing leading practices.
- Manage the complete development life cycle, including intake, design, build, testing, deployment, and release, ensuring applications meet both business and architectural standards while adhering to established guidelines.
- Direct the development of business and system requirements through thorough analysis, providing recommendations, and collaborating closely with the Solution Architect and development team to translate system requirements and lead high-level design.
- Engage in leadership roles and influence cross-functional teams to identify and document functional requirements, workflows, information sources, and system specifications.
- Act as a liaison between vendors, users, and the development team as necessary, while keeping all relevant teams informed on product backlog status, incidents, and projects.
- Monitor and communicate potential application risks and improvements to support effective issue prevention and risk mitigation.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience in Technology.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in IT.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification is essential.
- Familiarity with Cloud applications (Microsoft Azure), API development, and/or system integrations is advantageous.
- Experience in managing internal development teams, outsourced service providers, and vendor relationships.
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate in a matrix organization.
- Experience in managing and prioritizing multiple product backlogs.
- Previous experience in the retail sector is preferred.
- Project Management certification is a plus (e.g., CAPM, PMP, CSM).
