Job Overview

The Diving Locker is seeking a dedicated Swimming Instructor to join our team. This is a permanent position that requires a commitment of 40 hours per week in an engaging and dynamic environment.

Work Environment

The role involves working outdoors and in/on water, primarily in urban settings and various locations, including private businesses and swimming facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate and instruct various athletic, fitness, and sports activities.
  • Assist in organizing recreational, sport, and fitness events.
  • Lead both groups and individuals in leisure programs.
  • Plan and execute recreational, fitness, and sports activities.
  • Maintain and repair sports equipment as necessary.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to activities.
  • Understand and apply principles of group dynamics.
  • Provide lifestyle awareness information to participants.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor activities to ensure safety and provide first aid when required.
Supervision

The instructor will oversee a group of 5-10 individuals.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a CPR Certificate.
  • Basic security clearance and a valid driver's license are required.
  • References will be requested.
Transportation and Travel

A valid driver's license is necessary, and a vehicle will be provided by the employer. Travel expenses will also be covered.

Experience Requirements
