Job Title: Instructor - Swimming

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Instructor - Swimming to join our team at The Diving Locker. As an Instructor - Swimming, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for swimming and a proven track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons. You will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing feedback and guidance to students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver swimming lessons to students of all ages and skill levels
  • Create and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback and guidance
  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a high-quality learning experience
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. education, kinesiology, etc.)
  • Current certification in swimming instruction (e.g. NLS, WSI, etc.)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in swimming instruction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
