Job Description:

As a System Safety Engineer at CS GROUP, you will collaborate with the System Safety team, Hardware, and Software Development Teams to design, develop, and deploy systems that enable and support autonomous driving. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that systems are developed through a process that ensures end-to-end traceability and meets both system safety objectives and product requirements.

Safety Analysis:

You will develop functional safety and technical safety concepts for vehicle motion control systems. This will involve collaborating with internal hardware/software engineers to ensure system requirements and desired functionality are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementation of systems engineering processes, including cross-functional reviews of requirements and test cases
  • Support development of test plans, test cases, black box integration testing, and issue resolution
  • Collaboration with internal teams to ensure system requirements and desired functionality are achieved
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Automotive Engineering, Aerospace, Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering
  • 7+ years experience in system safety engineering, with a focus on automotive systems
  • Experience in hazard analysis and risk assessments (HARA / HAZOP)
  • Experience in system safety analysis type FMEA
  • Experience with at least one of the following standards:
