Safety Systems Engineer

CS GROUP is seeking a highly skilled Senior System Safety Engineer to contribute to the development of next-generation electric and autonomous vehicles. The ideal candidate will have expertise in safety/mission critical embedded systems and a strong background in system safety engineering.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct safety and security analysis in accordance with ISO 26262, ISO 13849, IEC 61508, and IEC 62061 standards.
- Perform hazard analysis and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards throughout the system lifecycle.
- Define safety goals and requirements for system components and subsystems, including hardware and software.
- Develop and implement safety analyses, including FMEA, FTA, DFA, and fault injection, to evaluate system safety performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety and security considerations are integrated into the development process.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in system safety engineering, with a focus on automotive systems.
- Proven expertise in hazard analysis and risk assessments (HARA/HAZOP) and system safety analysis type FMEA.
