Process Engineering Team Lead

Irving Oil is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineering Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Engineering Services department, you will provide leadership and technical expertise to our process engineering team, ensuring the successful planning and execution of our capital projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering and design efforts for complex capital projects
- Provide technical guidance and supervision to team members
- Support engineering analyses and deliverables, including process simulations and hazard/risk assessments
- Develop and execute resource plans to ensure effective cost, schedule, and quality performance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements
Requirements:
- University degree in Chemical Engineering with P.Eng. designation
- Minimum 15 years of experience in process design in chemical, petrochemical, or oil & gas plants
- Strong understanding of applicable regulatory and industry codes
- Proficiency with process engineering software tools, including Aspen HYSYS and EDR
