About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team in Strathroy. As a PSW, you will provide care and companionship to clients in their homes, promoting their physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and household management
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to regulatory requirements

Requirements
  • Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
  • RN or RPN
  • Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
  • Home Support Level 2 or level 3 from a recognized curriculum
  • Valid Developmental Support Worker Certificate
  • Current CPR level C Certificate
  • A valid driver's license and vehicle
  • Current immunization record (TB test completed within the past 12 months)
  • Current vulnerable sector check screening
  • Availability to work days OR evenings; including weekends
