Clinic Nurse Position at Canadian Addiction Treatment Centres

The Canadian Addiction Treatment Centres (CATC) is currently seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join their team as a Clinic Nurse at the Northern Treatment Centre.

This part-time permanent position offers 15 hours per week, with a competitive pay rate.

As a member of the high-performing CARE team, the Clinic Nurse will be responsible for delivering harm reduction and supportive treatment modalities for patients with opiate dependency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispense and administer medications
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
  • Perform ECG's, venipuncture, and other vital signs
  • Administer injections and ensure proper documentation
  • Communicate with Physicians
  • Provide comprehensive program information to patients
  • Update patient information within Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Requirements:
  • Member in good standing with the College of Nurses in Ontario
  • Previous experience in addiction treatment
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification
  • Strong commitment to working with individuals living with addiction
  • Proficiency in Microsoft platform
