Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all staff are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Manage Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our means and that our costs are under control.
- Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers feel valued and respected.
- Maintain Records: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that we have a clear understanding of our operations and can make informed decisions.
- Prepare Reports: Prepare and submit reports, ensuring that our management team is informed and up-to-date on all aspects of our operations.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: Will train.
- Work Setting: Restaurant.
- Supervision: 3-4 people.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, combination of sitting, standing, walking, attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, team player.
