Position Overview:

At Mystic, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dining experiences. Our Front of House team plays a crucial role in establishing a warm and inviting atmosphere for our guests. With a focus on genuine hospitality, our hosts are dedicated to ensuring that every visitor feels valued and appreciated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a welcoming demeanor, both in person and via phone, even during peak service times.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, including Servers, Bartenders, and Managers, to ensure smooth guest transitions throughout the dining area.
  • Promptly escort guests to their designated tables.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail when managing reservations, both over the phone and in person.
  • Uphold a pristine front entrance and host stand, ensuring it is well-stocked and free of clutter.
  • Quickly familiarize yourself with table layouts and maintain awareness of all sections within the restaurant.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and capability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Maintain a sense of professional urgency and efficiency.
  • Availability to work flexible hours.
