Job Summary

The Production Project Manager is responsible for driving initiatives to improve production safety, quality, capacity, reliability, and customer service in the Production department. This role requires strong leadership and project management skills to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with production technicians and technical teams to analyze production processes and equipment to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage resources to complete projects on schedule and develop contingency plans to minimize production impact.
  • Liaise with production operations, engineering, and quality assurance teams to coordinate project activities and provide technical advice.
  • Coordinate the installation and commissioning of production equipment, including completing equipment installation and operational qualifications (IQ/OQs).
  • Identify and recommend solutions for process improvements, reliability, and compliance to production operations, engineering, and quality assurance teams.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute projects, ensuring technical and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Develop and maintain maintenance and operational standard operating procedures (SOPs) as required.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs), SOPs, and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree in engineering, sciences, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of college diploma and project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience in coordinating project activities.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
