Job Summary

Guidewire is seeking a highly skilled Workplace Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining site operational policies, objectives, initiatives, budget, workplace vendor management, communication, and administrative services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Policy and Budget Management: Develop and implement site operational policies, objectives, and initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. Manage the operational budget, including equipment, installation, labor, janitorial, onsite food and beverage services, and other related costs.
  • Workplace Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of services. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities, improving operational efficiency and reducing waste.
  • Space Planning and Design: Plan and design office layouts, utilizing space management software to optimize operations and maximize productivity. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify space needs and develop solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Facilities and Maintenance: Oversee facilities maintenance, including setup and takedown of furniture and equipment, reconfigurations, and special events. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Service Delivery and Quality: Develop and implement systems to provide operational metrics, streamlining processes and optimizing service level agreements (SLAs). Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance service delivery.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Provide leadership and guidance to team members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and support regional offices as required.
  • Communication and Reporting: Develop and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, including regular reporting on operational performance and key metrics.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in facilities, operations, sustainability, and property management.
  • Certifications: IFMA Certified or associated preferred.
  • Skills: Strong computer skills in Google Suite, Jira, and Confluence. Excellent prioritization and conflict resolution skills. Ability to manage and negotiate with multiple vendors. Leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills. Self-motivated, confident, and energetic. Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate professionalism. Strong communicator and active listener. Possess strong presentation skills with metrics and verbal/written communication skills.
