Job Summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a skilled Facilities Lead Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) division, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise and coordinate the work of facilities technicians and maintenance staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  2. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and facilities.
  3. Collaborate with the leadership team to prioritize and manage maintenance requests, ensuring that all issues are addressed in a timely manner.
  4. Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  5. Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
  6. Provide excellent customer service to clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our facilities management processes.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience in facilities management, with a focus on supervisory or leadership roles.
  2. Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and problem-solving.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
