Job Title: Bar Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Manager to join our team at Bohca Bistro & Bar Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Bar Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the bar operations, including determining the type of services to be offered and implementing operational procedures. This will involve balancing cash and completing balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, as well as ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
Supervision:

The Bar Manager will supervise a team of 3-4 people.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

The Bar Manager will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to work under pressure.

Personal Suitability:

The ideal candidate will have a client-focused approach, be reliable, and a team player.

Experience:

The Bar Manager will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.

The working hours will be 35 hours per week, and the language of work will be English.
