Job Title: Bar Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Manager to join our team at Bohca Bistro & Bar Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Bar Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bar, ensuring that all customers receive exceptional service and that our bar remains a popular destination for locals and visitors alike.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service Management: Ensure that all customers receive prompt and courteous service, and that our bar remains a welcoming and inclusive environment.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the bar, including managing staff, inventory, and supplies.
  • Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that our bar remains a safe and healthy environment for customers and staff.
  • Supervision: Supervise 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with a high level of physical activity.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate a client-focused approach, reliability, and a team player attitude.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of the hospitality industry.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
