Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Host/Hostess to join our team at Pizza Delight. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Service
    • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
    • Present menus and make recommendations
    • Answer questions about food and beverages
  • Table Management
    • Manage table assignments and seating
    • Ensure tables are clean and ready for guests
  • Communication
    • Communicate effectively with guests, servers, and kitchen staff
    • Maintain a positive and professional attitude
  • Teamwork
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless service
    • Participate in ongoing training and development

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions
  • Ability to stand for long periods and move quickly and safely
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Working Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced restaurant environment with frequent interruptions and multiple priorities. You will be required to work in a noisy environment and maintain a high level of energy and productivity during peak periods.
