Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Alberta Corp. as a handyman/woman. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and upkeep of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out minor repairs and adjustments to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Balance the rent roll and manage maintenance schedules.
  • Coordinate with contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances and equipment.
  • Conduct safety and security checks to ensure a secure environment.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Perform other routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair.
  • Work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of independence.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English is required.
